The Brompton The Brompton is a bike which rides superbly, is safe, agile and fast, yet folds easily and quickly into a highly-compact and portable package. The result is a vehicle that increases your sense of freedom and independence. Finely-engineered and elegant, the Brompton has a full-sized frame, made mainly of steel for strength and stiffness, it is designed to be practical and light enough to be genuinely portable. Truly Personal Transport The Brompton is truly personal transport. You can take your Brompton with you even when you’re not riding it. On trains and buses, on aircraft or in cars, on yachts, in caravans and even on narrow boats, Bromptons are taken on trips as frequently as they take their owners on journeys. Truly Personal Transport. There are three models of Brompton M Type, S Type & P Type, each with different handlebar styles designed for different styles of riding and use. Brompton do not actually offer standard models as such due to the many variations possible and the individual hand build nature of the product. That said, Brompton do offer three 'Key Models'.The key models come properly kitted out, ready for the road, with mudguards and lighting. For those looking for weight savings, each of these key models can be built to a superlight specification (with the suffix "-X"), with front forks, rear frame and mudguard stays made out of titanium. Brompton Bespoke allows you to individually build up your Brompton to suit your individual needs and likes.
