If you just want the reasurance that your bike is safe to ride, the Bike MOT may be all that you require. The mechanic will not undertake any work other than those described, they will however, highlight any obvious problems with the bike as well as the best course of action to rectify any faults found. If you cycle requires new components, the Standard Service may be more suitable.
Please note that bikes need to be brought in, in a clean condition in order for us service them, otherwise a cleaning charge may be applied

The Standard service is the mechanical equivalent of the two week vist to the health farm.
For the average user, we recommend this comprehensive service where we check over the whole bicycle.
The standard service comes with a 6 month warranty on the work carried out, and a 1 year warranty on the parts fitted.
Again, any new parts required are not included in the price.

The Deluxe Service is the mechanical equivalent of being re-born.
If you ride every day we recommend that you treat your bike to an annual deluxe service.
Similarly, if maintenance has been minimal over the years, a Deluxe service will make the
bike ride like new again. All parts of the bicycle are overhauled, new brake and gear cables
are fitted, and all servicable bearings are stripped re-greased and new balls fitted. The deluxe service
comes with a 6 month guarantee on the work carried out, and a 1 year warranty on the new parts fitted. Again,
the cost of any new parts required are not included in the price.
